Application Requirements
Investment Amount:
$800,000 in a Targeted Employment Area (TEA – rural or high-unemployment zone)
$1,050,000 in non-TEA areas
Job Creation: Must create or preserve at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers within 2 years.
Lawful Source of Funds: All investment capital must come from legal sources (e.g., salary, sale of assets, gifts, inheritance).
At-Risk Investment: Funds must be placed in an active commercial enterprise with real financial risk—no guaranteed returns.
No minimum education, language, or business experience required.
